Fig trees have as many moods as leaves. Dozen Moods was inspired by such a tree...a tree with half a century of stories. By daylight, noonlight, moonlight, with leaves, without leaves, sometimes in silence, rarely singing with an orchestra of birds. These twelve etchings and monoprints are but twelve of the moods. Each 6" x 8" image is printed in oil based ink on the same piece of copper. |
